Description:

Voxify is looking for a Speech Analytics Engineer to join a team designing
world-class voice applications.

Candidates should be trained in Computational Linguistics and proficient in
programming using an object oriented language like Java or Ruby.  The
candidate should be experienced in defining, validating, and implementing
requirements for an advanced Speech Analytics Framework.  Using Voxify's
tools and methodologies, he/she will learn to quickly translate these
requirements into tools to inform tuning efforts for Speech-recognition
based applications.

The Speech Analytics Engineer will design, develop and support new
enhancements in an existing Analytical Tools Framework to handle the
analysis of all the relevant data produced by high-volume speech
recognition applications.  On-going application tuning activities are also
expected from the candidate to ensure on-going data-driven improvements in
application design.  The Engineer, working in concert with the Application
Designer, will help apply proven, advanced VUI techniques and principles to
manage presentation of information, guidance, querying, playback, and
cognitive load management.  The ideal candidate for this position has a
good mix of technical and analytical skills for software development, as
well as a research-oriented background suitable for developing novel
solutions for language processing tasks and further analysis.

Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Computational Linguistics, Computer Science,
Linguistics, HCI or related field
-1 plus years of experience as a Programmer or in a Computational
Linguistics role
-Strong analytical background and proven ability to make data-driven decisions
-Outstanding attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
-Driven to deliver excellent customer service
