We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at
http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.cfm.

Hello,

We are working on a topic regarding interlanguage pragmatics
assessment for my thesis. My research question is "whether the
Written Discourse Completion Test (WDCT) and the accompanying
multidimensional scoring system constructed and developed in my
study are valid and reliable to assess EFL learners' pragmatic
competence to produce L2 speech acts of apology, request, and
refusal?''

In fact, WDCT is a kind of test measuring one's pragmatic competence
and is known in the pragmatics realm. This one is prepared by myself
to see if it really measures one's pragmatic competence. For this
purpose we need English native speakers as participants. Those who
would like to participate, can find the questionnaire at an online survey.
If you are willing to cooperate, please kindly see the link:

http://www.kwiksurveys.com/online-survey.php?
surveyID=NKEHOI_1117d6e

All participants will remain anonymous and no personal information
beyond 1.) age and 2.) gender will be collected.

It won't take too much of your time, and it will provide us with priceless
information crucial for the completion of our investigation. We will be
infinitely grateful if you participate in this project by filling out this
questionnaire and sending it to us as soon as possible. Thanks in
advance.

Best,
