Meeting Description: 

We are proud to announce that the 20th Conference of the Student 
Organization of Linguistics in Europe (ConSOLE XX) will take place from 
January 5 - 7, 2012 at the University of Leipzig. The conference will be 
hosted by the Department of Linguistics.

Invited Speakers: 

Rajesh Bhatt (University of Massachusetts at Amherst)
Andrew Nevins (University College London)
Marc van Oostendorp (Meertens Instituut, Amsterdam) 

Furthermore, we are delighted that on the occasion of the 20th 
anniversary of ConSOLE Marcel den Dikken (CUNY) will take part in the 
conference. He will give a talk in the evening of January 4, 2012 and a 
short introduction on the history of ConSOLE during the opening 
ceremony on January 5.
