Meeting Description:

The Department of Linguistics & Philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is proud to host the second Formal Approaches to South Asian Languages (FASAL) workshop. The main aim of this workshop is to provide a platform to discuss South Asian Linguistics from the perspective of formal syntax, semantics and morphology.

Invited Speakers:

Rajesh Bhatt (University of Massachusetts, Amherst)
Veneeta Dayal (Rutgers University)
Brendan Gillon (McGill University)
Maria Polinksy (Harvard University) 

2nd Call for Papers:

We invite submissions for 20 min talks plus 10 min for discussion. Abstracts must be anonymous, in PDF format, 2 pages (A4 or letter), in a font size no less than 11pt, and with margins of 1 inch/2.5cm. Please submit abstracts via EasyAbs (see link below) no later than December 23, 2011.
