Full Professor Position (Paris France)

The University Paris Diderot is offering a full professor position in 
Experimental Phonetics.

The candidate should have experience in teaching and research in 
Experimental Phonetics. S/he should already hold a tenured professor 
position or be registered on the French national qualification lists before 
October 27th 2011.

S/he should have expertise in experimental phonetics (acoustic and 
articulatory) and will be responsible for a research program combining 
phonetics with another linguistic domain such as phonology, morphology, 
syntax, semantics or discourse. A specialization in prosody or sizable 
spoken corpora will be a plus.

S/he will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Linguistics 
department (http://www.univ-paris-diderot.fr) and will be in charge of the 
Experimental Phonetics curriculum in the Linguistics Masters and PhD 
Program (http://www.linguist.univ-paris-diderot.fr/ed.html).

This is a permanent life-time position with a civil servant status. Salary will 
be in accordance with the French state regulated public service salary scale.
