Women & Language Journal: Media/Digital Media Reviews

Women & Language publishes brief (750 words) reviews of current
media and digital resources relevant to the study and teaching of
communication, language, gender, and social justice in particular.
Appropriate subjects might include:

academic and research websites, academic and research blogs and
vlogs, digital performance scholarship, educational or documentary
films or audio programs, multimedia productions, research software,
scholarly databases, video gaming/computer gaming, as well as
movies, TV shows, advertisements, etc.

Our aim is to both alert W&L readers to the existence and value of
these resources and to provide commentary on digital developments
and directions that might enhance academic practices and
understandings in the study and teaching of communication, language,
and gender.

Length: Reviews should be approximately 750 words.

Style: Each review should be headed by complete bibliographic
information following APA Guidelines.

Submissions: An electronic file of the review should be sent to
Media Reviews Editor Allyson Jule at allyson.jule at twu.ca.

Extended deadline for next issue: October 31st , 2011
