Meeting Description:

The Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore and the North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong are pleased to announce that the the International Conference on Tense, Aspect and Modality will be hosted by the Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore from 3-5 February 2012.

Call for Papers:

We encourage submissions on any current research on the morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics of Tense, Aspect and Modality in the world languages. The abstracts should be anonymous, and fit on at most 2 pages including examples, tables/figures and references (using 12-point type with reasonable margins). Please submit your abstract in both pdf and doc format.

Abstracts should be sent by e-mail to umaranip at gmail.com and sastry/ciil at ciil.stpmy.soft.net by October 31, 2011.

Please write the (corresponding) author's name plus the word 'abstract' in the subject line of your message (e.g., 'Jones abstract'), and include author name(s), affiliation, contact information and the title of the abstract in the body of the email. For co-authored papers indicate the email address that we should use for correspondence.

Important Dates:

Abstract submission deadline: October 31, 2011
Notification of acceptance: November 20, 2011
Full paper submission deadline: December 31, 2011
