Dear LINGUIST List Subscribers,

This has been my first experience participating in the
LINGUIST List fund drive and I have to say that your
contributions this fund drive season have been outstanding.

Many of us here at LINGUIST List have poured our blood,
sweat and tears into making this fund drive an exciting
experience for our readers and we hope that you have
felt that. Please help us end fund drive with a bang!
We are so close to our goal and don't forget you can
even pick out some new LINGUIST swag for yourself!

http://linguistlist.org/fund-drive/2012/rewards-for-valor.cfm

Aside from all the fun and games, your donations keep
LINGUIST List alive and help us build students that become
valuable members of the linguistics community. All the new
features and improvements we create are with you in mind.
Without your donations things like the Internship Registry,
EasyAbs and the Student Portal would not exist! We still have
a few tricks up our sleeves but we need to close the gap of
$1131 we have towards our goal.

As my first year at LINGUIST List comes to an end, I am so
thankful that I have been given the opportunity to become
a part of this family. Without everyone here, and more
importantly all of our subscribers like you, students like
me might not get a chance to experience all the things that
LINGUIST List offers. I have learned so much in such a short
time. Donations great and small help support everything we do
here; please help us by donating today.

Thank you! Without you I would have missed out on this
wonderful experience.

Best Regards,

Kristen Dunkinson

There are many ways to donate to LINGUIST!

You can donate right now using our secure credit card form at
https://linguistlist.org/donation/donate/donate1.cfm

Alternatively you can also pledge right now and pay later. To do so, go to:
https://linguistlist.org/donation/pledge/pledge1.cfm

For all information on donating and pledging, including information on how to
donate by check, money order, or wire transfer, please visit:

The LINGUIST List is under the umbrella of Eastern Michigan University and as
such can receive donations through the EMU Foundation, which is a registered
501(c) Non Profit organization. Our Federal Tax number is 38-6005986. These
donations can be offset against your federal and sometimes your state tax
return (U.S. tax payers only). For more information visit the IRS Web-Site,
or contact your financial advisor.

Many companies also offer a gift matching program, such that they will match
any gift you make to a non-profit organization. Normally this entails your
contacting your human resources department and sending us a form that the
EMU Foundation fills in and returns to your employer. This is generally a
simple administrative procedure that doubles the value of your gift to
LINGUIST, without costing you an extra penny. Please take a moment to check if
your company operates such a program.

Thank you very much for your support of LINGUIST!
