Meeting Description:

The organizing committee would like to invite you to the 31st West Coast Conference on Formal Linguistics from 8 to 10 February 2013. The meetings will be held in the Memorial Union (Ventana Rooms) on the campus of Arizona State University. The website for the conference is http://www.asu.edu/wccfl31.

Registration:

We will ask you to register by 15 January 2013 on a site to be announced on http://www.asu.edu/wccfl31. The fees are $100 (non-students) and $50 (students). You will be able to pay by credit card (URL to come but note a service fee of $10) or by check (to Arizona State University-English Department, care of Elly van Gelderen) or on site. We will do a simple salad/pizza dinner at a local restaurant on Saturday night and will ask you to sign up for that before 15 January 2013 as well. The cost for that will be $20. 

2nd Call for Papers:

We welcome abstracts from all areas of formal linguistics.

Instructions for Abstract Submission:

Abstracts for 20 minute talks as well as posters must contain at most 750 words, including examples but not references, on up to two letter-sized sheets (8 1/2 by 11) with one-inch margins and in a font no smaller than 11 point. At the top of the abstract, please include (1) the abstract title and (2) three or four keywords describing the topics of the paper. Please include word count at the bottom of the abstract text. Abstracts are anonymous, so all authors' names must be absent from the abstract. Submissions are limited to 1 individual and 1 joint abstract per author, or 2 joint abstracts per author. The submitted abstract should be in PDF format and will be done through EasyChair:
