Role: Software Engineer (Professional Services)
Location: Ulm, Germany
REF: 8167

Role Description:
-  Define the framework setup for customer project. Port the software 
to project specific OS and HW platform. Integrate the software 
components. 
-  Optimize configuration and setup for latency, memory and CPU 
consumption.
-  Analyze product requirements and liaise with R&D and developers 
in order to define framework configuration and setup
-  Work together with framework team on requirements and optimal 
configuration for specific customer projects
-  Port the framework with all software components to different OS 
and HW platforms
-  Verify the accuracy and validity of all software components, 
including preparation of sample test data
-  Define and improve SW integration processes
-  Perform memory and CPU measurements on target platform
-  Work together with development and R&D for improving latency, 
memory and CPU consumption
-  Work together with project team on localization and reproduction of 
framework defects
-  Be up to date on technology development and challenge yourself 
to deliver best-in class solutions to our customers

Skills and Experience Required:
-  Strong C / C++  and Java Programming Skills
-  Programming with scripting languages
-  Software integration knowledge
-  Positive 'can-do' attitude, well organized, focusing on achieving 
results cost-effectively
-  Ability and willingness to handle occasional peak demands
-  Ability and willingness to travel for short trips.
-  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and 
German
-  Master or Bachelors or Graduate University degree in Computer 
Science, Engineering, Software Engineering

Preferred Skills:
-  Experience with embedded software development is a strong plus
-  Experience with speech recognition or related technologies is an 
advantage
