Meeting Description:

Human languages have lexical, syntactic and stylistic features of their own. Studying and analyzing these different aspects have always been among the major concerns of the scientific community in different fields of enquiry. The Higher institute of the Applied Languages and Computer Science is organizing, in collaboration with the research unit UTIC, its fifth annual conference INFOL at NGUES (http://www.islaib.rnu.tn). This meeting provides a forum for debate between researchers in both computer science and linguistics to exchange ideas and approaches in the field of natural language processing and technology-based, language-research in general.

Call for Papers:

Papers for the conference are solicited on linguistically and computationally significant topics, including but not limited to the following:

- Language and digital technology
- Computational Linguistics
- Corpus linguistics
- Text mining
- Ontologies and terminology
- Morphological analyzers and spelling checkers
- Machine translation
- Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL)
- Virtual education
- Computer adaptive testing (CAT)
- Electronic discourse
- Speech analysis, synthesis, recognition, and understanding

You are, therefore, invited to submit your papers via email to infolangues at gmail.com.

Language of the Articles:

Computer scientists can submit articles in Arabic, French or English. Linguists can use Arabic, French, English, Spanish or German.

Complete articles (up to 10 pages) can be submitted according to the required format via email to infolangues at gmail.com by 10 January 2013.

Subscription fees: 120 DT

Important Dates:

Submission of complete articles: 10 January 2013
Notification of acceptance: 30 January 2013
Submission of the final version of articles: 15 February 2013
