Meeting Description:

The European dialect syntax network EdiSyn and the DFG-funded Project SYNALM organize the seventh European Dialect Syntax Meeting in Konstanz (Germany), June 13-15, 2013. The conference seeks to bring together researchers in the field of dialect syntax and syntactic microvariation. Contributions that address the formal modeling of syntactic variation are especially welcome. 

Invited speaker: Richard Kayne

We plan to reserve one afternoon for exchanging practical issues concerning the methods (and problems) for handling huge amounts of variational data; representational tools etc. If you want to make a contribution to this part or simply participate, let us know in advance by emailing us (ellen.brandner at uni-konstanz.de)

Call for Papers:

We invite abstracts for 30 minutes talks (plus 10 min. discussion). Submissions are limited to 1 single authored and 1 jointly authored abstract. Abstracts should not exceed 2 pages including figures, examples and references. Please send your abstract as an attachment (PDF or Word format) by email to Ellen Brandner (ellen.brandner at uni-konstanz.de).  Submissions should be anonymous. Contact details (name, affiliation and email) along with the title of the talk should be included in the body of the email.
