CoDis Working Papers in Discourse Coherence, Cognition and Creativity

CoDis Working Papers in Discourse Coherence, Cognition and Creativity is
an annual publication of the CoDis Research Group, a Recognised Research
Group at the Universidad de Salamanca formed in July 2003 on the initiative
of a group of lecturers working in the field of discourse analysis.

CoDis Working Papers wants to open a forum for sharing and exchanging
research on the concept of coherence in all discourse genres. The Codis
Working Papers series seeks to integrate different interpretations of
coherence from cognitive and discourse perspectives in a dynamic
interactive way; the primary methodologies are discourse analysis and textual
analysis. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, general aspects of
meaning construction, discourse coherence, creative discourse coherence
(with a focus on literary, popular and advertising discourse), discourse
coherence approaches to language teaching, and discourse coherence and
translation. Other fields of interest are discourse analysis, discourse
production and reception, and socio-cultural approaches to discourse.

CoDis Working Papers welcomes submission for full publication online of
unpublished articles and research reports. Articles may be in English or
Spanish. Authors whose native language is not English / Spanish should
have their manuscripts checked by an English / Spanish -speaking expert, or
a language-editing professional service, prior to submission. Manuscripts
should not exceed 10,000 words.

All consistent formats will be accepted; the LSA Style Sheet is
recommended. The manuscript should be as simple as possible. The
manuscript text should be 1,5-spaced throughout, with margins of at least
one inch (2.54 cm) all around the page; a 12 point Times New Roman font is
preferred. Use headers only for page numbers. Notes, if necessary, should be
endnotes. Manuscripts should have a list of References.
In addition to the main text, attach a separate cover sheet with title and
subtitle of the article; authors' names and affiliations; complete mailing
address, email address, and telephone numbers of the (first) author. The first
page of the manuscript should include the title, subtitle, an abstract of 150 to
200 words, and a list of five key-words. The author's personal information
should not be part of the manuscript file.

Electronic submissions should be sent to the editor in Word files.

Copyright remains with the authors of individual articles. Articles will undergo
peer review.
