Upgrading or Downsizing Multilingualism?

This is the fourth CercleS seminar in a series embracing Europe, the first of which took place in Dublin (2007), the second in Padua (2009), and the third in Groningen (2011). 

Featured Keynote Speakers (all confirmed):

- Régis Ritz, Member of the pool of experts for the IEP (Institutional Evaluation Programme) and EUA; chair/member of evaluation committees for the TNP and other European Language Programmes; honorary member of the CEL/ELC 
- Robert Phillipson, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark 
- Tove Skutnabb-Kangas, Abo Akademi University, Vasa, Finland 
- Christian Puren, Univérsité de Saint Étienne, France 

Call for Papers:

The proposed action areas of the seminar are:

- Policy, scope and projection of Language Centres under Bologna 
- Teaching and learning languages under Bologna 
- Minority languages and their place under Bologna 
- Digital networks and virtual spaces for learning languages

Length: Abstracts should be between 250 and 300 words 
Languages: Abstracts should be in the language of the proposed paper
Seminar languages: Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, English
