Workshop for Teachers of Italian as L2 

Siena 4 - 11 July 2012

For teachers and other professionals who work in the field of Italian language and culture

Application deadline: January 15 2012

The workshop is addressed to teachers and other professionals who work in the field of Italian language and culture in Italy as well as out of Italy. It will take place in Siena, one of the Italian cities with the richest historical and artistic heritage, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The workshop has several relevant goals aiming at developing the professional expertise of teachers and other professionals who work in the field of Italian language and culture:

In-depth focus on some aspects of Italian culture and their handling in the classroom;
Direct contact with one of the most beautiful and representative region of Italian cultural tradition; 
Development of the linguistic proficiency in Italian.

In the workshop are scheduled lectures and other cultural activities: visit to Siena, visit to artistic sites, lectures 'on the field', concerts.

Teachers who are interested can ask a GRUNDTVIG financial support before January 15 2012.

At the end of the workshop a certificate of attendance will be issued.

Admission fee: 750€
For participants admitted within the partnership between CVO Vilvoorde and the Università per Stranieri di Siena admission fee is 450€
