Description:

The DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation's Analytic Products Division is 
focused on developing and implementing advanced analytical algorithms 
for military and intelligence community applications. In particular, we are 
working on developing a solution to the problem of having too much 
unstructured data. Whether this data is in the form of unstructured text, 
video, or audio, we want to be able to allow users of our product, Contour 
(http://contour.dac.us), to be able to find exactly what they need to solve 
their problem as quickly as possible.

To support these efforts, DAC is seeking applicants with backgrounds in 
algorithm development for Natural Language Processing. The successful 
candidates will:
-  Maintain an understanding of the current and emerging trends in Natural 
Language Processing
-  Participate in the development of cutting edge algorithms for Natural 
Language Processing
-  Provide end-to-end research and development from project conception 
and proposal through algorithm development and prototyping 
-  Aid in driving the growth of this employee-owned company through 
expansion into tangential areas of interest

Required Experience and Skill Sets:
-  Career experience in Natural Language Processing or equivalent 
academic experience
-  Basic familiarity with Java or Matlab
-  Demonstrated ability to convert academic ideas into realized prototype 
solutions
-  Strong skills working within a collaborative team environment 

Required Education:  Bachelor's degree or higher in Computational 
Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline with significant 
software development experience

Desired Education:  Master's degree or higher in Computational Linguistics, 
Computer Science, or a related discipline with significant software 
development experience

Security Clearance:  Applicants must have a secret clearance or be able to 
obtain a DoD secret clearance upon hire

Must be a U.S. Citizen
