Meeting Description:

The Congress aims to promote interaction and discussion among researchers interested in the fields of English Grammar, Lexicography, Linguistics, English Language Teaching, and Information and Communication Technology in Language Teaching. The 1st International Congress on English Grammar was held at the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad during 12-20 July 1999. The Congress was subsequently hosted by some of the leading institutions in India and abroad.

The 9th International Congress on English Grammar (ICEG 2013) aims at presenting current topics on Language, Linguistics and Literature. The main theme of the congress is to insist on the importance of Lexicogrammar to establish new techniques of teaching that will be suitable for the new millennium generation of learners. ICEG 2013 aims at promoting a platform for scholarly discussions on the major changes in the new millennium teaching.

Abstracts:

Participants are requested to submit the abstracts based on their original research (unpublished) related to the given topic areas. The abstracts should not exceed 200 words and should cover the novelty, scope, methodology adopted, findings/observations and discussions. The names, affiliations, mobile, email address and full mailing address of all authors must be mentioned. The abstracts should be submitted online.

The abstract may be prepared using MS-Word according to the following format:

Title of the paper: Times New Roman-12, Bold, align: Center
Name of the authors: In captial letters, Times New Roman-12, align: Center 
Designation, Address, Affiliation, email id & mobile no.: Times New Roman - 10, align: Center
Text of Abstract: Times New Roman -12, align: Justify 

Abstracts will be selected after a review by the committee. Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference souvenir.

Each participant can submit only one abstract as an individual author or along with co-authors. Lead authors and co-authors must register by 20 November 2012. Both the authors should pay the Registration fee for the paper to be included in the congress programme.
