Call for Papers:

Paper and poster proposals on any topic in generative second language acquisition (adult and child), L1 Attrition, L3/Ln acquisition, and childhood bilingualism are invited.

Abstracts are invited for 20 minute presentations (with 10 minutes for discussion) and/or posters. Please indicate on your abstract whether you wish your submission to be considered for one category only (regular paper, or poster, please specify) or for both categories. Abstracts should not exceed 500 words: the text is limited to 500 words, not including the title. Figures, tables, examples, and references may be included on a second page. These do not count toward the 500 words. Please submit your anonymous abstract through Easy Abstracts. No more than three abstracts per person should be submitted, with no more than one as first or sole author. Electronic submission of abstracts is required.

Authors are asked to submit their anonymous abstracts in pdf format via the Easy Abstracts submission site:

When you create the pdf, make sure to remove any author information: in Acrobat, go to 'File:Document Properties.' When you go to the submission website, you will be asked to register with your name, email, affiliation and phone number. Once registered, your username will be your email. During the submission process, please make sure that you indicate for which session (Main Session/Poster, both) you want to be considered. No faxed abstracts will be accepted.

If you encounter any difficulty, you may also submit your abstract as a last resort via email (pdf format only) to gasla-12 at clas.ufl.edu with the following information in the email message: Title of paper, Name of author(s), Affiliation(s), Address(es), Phone number(s), Email address(es), and the session for which you want to be considered.
