Description:

Job Title: Speech Data Evaluator (U.S. English or U.S. Spanish)

The Speech Data Evaluator works on the target language's Word of Mouth 
team, evaluating text data to help generate a readable script for speech 
synthesis and linguistic rules for either U.S. English or U.S. Spanish.

This includes:
-  Proofread script sentences for language/typing errors, style, readability, 
sentence length etc;
-  Edit script sentences to maximize phonetic coverage;
-  Evaluate calculating phonetic coverage of the script;
-  Label text for disambiguation, expansion.

Job Requirements:
-  Linguistic background helpful;
-  Keen ear for phonetic nuances;
-  Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts;
-  Excellent oral and written communicator;
-  Experience editing or proofreading written content.

In addition, the candidate should be:
-  Computer-literate; 
-  Able to work full time;
-  A native speaker of U.S. Spanish and fluent in English (for the U.S. Spanish role); 
-  A native speaker of U.S. English (for the U.S. English role). 

Linguistic background is not necessary, but preferred. 

Project duration: 6 months (with potential for extension).
