Meeting Description:

Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at National Chengchi University in Taiwan will host the 5th International Conference of Slavic Languages, Literatures and Cultures on May 4-5, 2013. The main topic of this Conference will be 'Contemporary Slavic Languages'. 

The sub-topics of this Conference are as follows:  

1. Language policy and language development in Slavic World
2. Slavic thinking through the historical and modern viewpoints
3. New trends in the research of Slavic languages (phonological, grammatical, lexical, lexicological and rhetoric aspects)
4. Comparative studies in Slavic literatures
5. Cross-cultural interaction in Slavic languages
6. Slavic languages teaching from the viewpoint of communication and pragmatics
7. Text studies in Slavic literatures
8. Other topics related to Slavic languages, literatures and cultures

The topics of the round table discussions in this Conference are as follows:

1. Current situation of Slavic-language teaching in Chinese classrooms
2. Problems in teaching a second Slavic language
3. Slavic-language teaching materials of compilation

Registration Fee:

1500NTD (including conference fee and conference materials) will be collected at the registration desk.

На Тайване, где встречаются горы с океаном, проводится V международная  конференция «Современные проблемы славянской филологии: славянские языки в современном мире». Конференция пройдёт в Тайбэе с 4 по 5 мая 2013 года. Организатор конференции - факультет славянских языков Государственного университета Чжэнчжи.

В работе конференции предусмотрены следующие направления:

1. Вопросы языковой политики и языкового строительства в славянском мире
2. Славянская ментальность в историческом и современном аспектах
3. Новое в изучении славянских языков (фонетика, лексикология, лексикография, грамматика, стилистика)
4. Сопоставительные исследования в славистике
5. Межкультурное взаимодействие славянских языков
6. Коммуникативно-прагматические аспекты изучения и преподавания славянских языков как иностранных
7. Славянский фольклор и художественный текст как объект филологического исследования
8. Другие темы, связанные с актуальными вопросами славянской филологии

Планируется работа круглых столов:

- Славянские языки в китайской аудитории
- Обучение второму славянскому языку в учебных целях
- Создание учебников, пособий при обучении славянским языкам

Организационный взнос - 1500 NTD. Взнос принимается на конференции во время регистрации и включает в себя организационные расходы, издание программы и материалов конференции. Проживание и экскурсионная программа за счёт участников. 

Call for Papers:

We welcome all the papers related to the conference topic. 

Please email the registration form and the paper abstract in 150-300 words in Chinese, English or Russian by August 31, 2012. Decisions on the acceptance of paper abstract will be made on December 31, 2012, and we will send the formal invitation after then. The full paper submissions are due on March 31, 2013. Full articles should be in the region of 10-20 pages, including abstract and key words, and should be sent electronically as a Word file to the email address of the conference committee:

We will publish peer-reviewed conference proceedings after the conference. 

Conference languages: Chinese, Russian, English 

Style Sheet: 

1. The manuscript shall be written in Chinese, English or Russian. Please edit it with Microsoft Word 2003/2007/XP on A4 paper. Left and right margins should be 2cm; top and bottom margins 3cm. The font for the title shall be Times New Roman 18pt and the main text shall be Times New Roman 12pt. Text-align should be set to justify, and text-indent 2cm (If written in English or in Russian, text-indent shall be 1cm.) Single-spaced. 
2. Ways of marking differences: bold or italic font. 
3. The text should not use double spaces after periods, and words should not be hyphenated to split across multiple lines. 
4. The first page of each manuscript should cover the abstract in Chinese, English or Russian, with key words, and also the data of author(s), including the name and affiliation. If the main text is not written in English, the second page should specify the abstract and key words in English, with the name and affiliation of the author(s). The main text should start from the subsequent pages. Footnotes should appear at the end of the manuscript. 
5. Please follow the MLA Style. The order of the bibliographic entries shall be first Chinese, English, Russian and then in other languages.

Для участия в конференции необходимо направить в Оргкомитет до 31 августа 2012 г. заявку на участие в конференции и аннотацию доклада в объёме до 0,5 страницы текста в виде приложения к электронному письму по адресу: conference.slavic at gmail.com. Оргкомитет конференции вышлет официальное приглашение до 31 декабря 2012 г. Всем, получившим приглашение, необходимо до 31 марта 2013 г. прислать текст доклада в объёме 10-20 страниц с аннотацией, которая содержит ключевые слова. Материалы конференции, прошедшие рецензирование, будут опубликованы в сборнике научных статей после конференции.

Рабочие языки: китайский, русский и английский.

Требования к оформлению текста:

1. Стандарты - редактор Microsoft 2003, формат A4, название статьи - кегль 18 пт. полужирным, основной текст - кегль 12 пт, шрифт Times New Roman, межстрочный интервал - 1 (single), абзацный отступ - 1 см, поля: правое и левое - 2 см, верхнее и нижнее - 3 см, выравнивание текста по ширине.
2. Типы выделений - полужирный, курсив.
3. В тексте не должно быть двойных пробелов и переносов слов.
4. Язык текста - русский, китайский, английский.
5. На первой странице располагается аннотация статьи, ключевые слова, фамилия и инициалы автора, место работы. На втором странице эта информация повторяется на английском языке. Статье начинается на третьей странице. Сноски располагаются в нижней части каждой страницы.
6. Примечания оформляются подстрочными ссылками. Полный список источников дается в конце работы под грифом Литература в алфавитном порядке.
