Prosody in Typical and Atypical Populations
3-4 September 2012
University of Reading, UK

The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers and speech and language therapists to share thoughts, ideas, and research findings on issues related to the acquisition of prosody and prosody disorders in children and adults. 

Call for Papers:

We invite submissions for oral and poster presentations on prosody acquisition, disorders of prosody in different clinical populations, theoretical explanations of prosody acquisition and disorders, remediation of prosody studies. Abstracts based on completed unpublished work or work in progress on any aspect of typical and atypical prosody, including children and adults, assessment and remediation are welcome. The word limit is 300 words (excluding title and references). If your abstract contains fonts, please send us a pdf document. Also please indicate at the end of the abstract whether you prefer an oral or a poster presentation.

Abstract submission deadline: 30 April 2012
Authors notified of acceptance of abstracts: 31 May 2012 
Early registration: End 30 June 2012
