Dear LINGUIST List Subscribers,

It's a beautiful day filled with fun limericks, the weekend is approaching, and
you've just gotten a brilliant story from SpecGram. What more could you want from
a Friday? How about more exciting prizes?

So we've released Many Morphologies as our prize today. But in honor of the
SpecGram story, there will also be a special weekend prize!

Not only has SpecGram taken the time to write a hilarious piece for our story, the
mastermind behind Speculative Grammarian, Trey Jones, has generously donated 25
SpecGram magnets as a prize... and the winners can pick the design of their choice!

If you are a fan of SpecGram, or find the SpecGram pictures entertaining, this
should be STRONG incentive to donate. Why? The odds are in your favor! Higher
number of prizes and lower numbers of weekend donors means that should you donate,
your chances of winning are quite high. In fact, you may even be guaranteed a prize!
That's some pretty nice math.

Once again, anyone who donates is eligible for this fun prize, so make the weekend
a little more fun and pick up some SpecGram swag by donating:

Have a great weekend!

The LINGUIST List is under the umbrella of Eastern Michigan University and as
such can receive donations through the EMU Foundation, which is a registered
501(c) Non Profit organization. Our Federal Tax number is 38-6005986. These
donations can be offset against your federal and sometimes your state tax
return (U.S. tax payers only). For more information visit the IRS Web-Site,
or contact your financial advisor.

Many companies also offer a gift matching program, such that they will match
any gift you make to a non-profit organization. Normally this entails your
contacting your human resources department and sending us a form that the
EMU Foundation fills in and returns to your employer. This is generally a
simple administrative procedure that doubles the value of your gift to
LINGUIST, without costing you an extra penny. Please take a moment to check if
your company operates such a program.

Thank you very much for your support of LINGUIST!
