Meeting Description: 

The National Research School in Linguistics and Philology invites you to participate in their first summer school in linguistic theory and methods. The Summer School will take place in the magnificent surroundings of Svolvær in Lofoten in the North of Norway, between 12th and 17th of August (week 33).

The PhD school aims to give national and international PhD candidates the skills and competence needed for advanced research in linguistics and language studies. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on work this summer school will provide competence in adequate research design, including data collection, corpus building, qualitative and quantitative methods, statistics, research ethics and other relevant topics.

Application deadline: May 31st

(There must be a minimum of 10 participants in order for the conference to take place, so please do not book flight tickets before you have received a confirmation for attending the conference)
