Abstract:

Hypertexte bringen aufgrund ihrer spezifischen Strukturierung zusätzliche Anforderungen für den Lernenden mit sich, die nach Informationszielspezifikation, Informationssuche, Informationsbewertung und Informationsverarbeitung aufgeschlüsselt werden. Ein hohes Maß an Eigenkontrolle ist erforderlich, damit sich der Lernende nicht mit den zwei Hauptproblemen des hypermedialen Lernens, Desorientierung und kognitive überbelastung, konfrontiert sieht. Zur Bewältigung der erwähnten Anforderungen wird in der Forschungsliteratur vielfach die Metakognition als Schlüsselkompetenz für das Lernen mit Hypertexten postuliert. Der empirische Nachweis hierfür fällt jedoch bislang recht bescheiden aus. Das vorliegende Buch geht daher auf die Frage ein, wie mit Hilfe der metakognitiven Lernstrategien die kognitiven Vorgänge des Lesens fremdsprachiger Hypertexte kontrolliert und damit optimiert werden können.
