Description:

Assistant Professor of English specializing in linguistics and in an area
of British Literature prior to 1800 to support BA and MA programs in
English and the PhD program in rhetoric. PhD in English or closely related
area required. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent
teaching; clear evidence of an active, ongoing program of research (with
publications or the strong potential for publications); and a commitment to
service, including directing graduate student research. Background or
interest in rhetoric also desirable, as is experience or interest in online
instruction.
