Full Title: Travaux interdiscplinaires sur la parole et le langage

Call Deadline: 07-Jan-2013

29th issue of the TIPA journal, dedicated to the study of Spoken French

The 29th issue of the TIPA journal (Travaux Interdisciplinaires sur la parole et le langage) is presently being prepared, and will be exclusively published as an electronic version on the electronic platform Revues.org (www.revues.org).

The general topic chosen for this issue is the study of Spoken French.

The scientific orientation of the TIPA journal will remain fully interdisciplinary. This will allow us to welcome contributions building on the theme of spoken French from a variety of different fields (syntax, phonetics, discourse analysis...) and perspectives (corpus-based approaches, theoretical linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, automatic language processing, sociolinguistics, language teaching...).

The language of publication will be either English or French. Each article will be introduced by a detailed two page-long abstract in the other language, which will make papers in French more accessible to English-speaking readers, and vice versa, thus ensuring a larger audience for everyone.

Information about Contributions:

Major dates:

7 January 2013: deadline for reception of contributions.
End of February 2013: notification of acceptance to the authors, following the scientific committee's decision.
End of June 2013: reception of papers.
Publication: end of 2013

Presentation of the Proposal:

- 1 file containing the title, name and affiliation of the author(s).
- 1 second file no longer than one page (in times 12 format) containing: the title; ½ page introducing the subject of the research and the theoretical / methodological framework; ½ page accounting for the main results. This one-page abstract can be followed by a short bibliography (5 or 6 titles; the author(s) of the proposal may not appear more than twice).

The proposal must be sent to: tipa at lpl-aix.fr
You can view the instructions to authors here: http://www.lpl.univ-aix.fr/index.php?id=27#english
