Meeting Description: 

The IRIS team is pleased to announce a two-day series of invited colloquia and poster presentations (open call to follow).  The conference brings together researchers working across diverse areas of second language research, to address questions relating to particular data elicitation techniques, including: 

- What sorts of data emerge from using this technique/tool/instrument? 
- What are some of the methodological challenges of using this particular elicitation technique or approach to collecting data? 
- How do such challenges impact theory, findings, or research designs? 
- Are there recent innovations, developments, or refinements of this tool or approach?
- Do any other kinds of measures / instruments / tests contribute to our understanding of the use of this elicitation tool?

There will be an OPEN CALL FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS IN JANUARY 2013, when REGISTRATION WILL OPEN
 
There will be 3 free places for students presenting posters, and reduced fees for all students. 

Please note: The EuroSLA annual conference is in Amsterdam, Wednesday 28 - Saturday 31 August 2013.  Travel from Amsterdam to York is very reasonable, and the timing allows a day to visit York!
