Meeting Description:

We are pleased to announce the 5th International Conference on Iranian Linguistics, to be held at the University of Bamberg, 24-26 August 2013.

Call for Papers:

Submissions are welcome on any aspect of linguistics pertaining to the Iranian languages, including formal approaches to phonology and morphosyntax, historical and comparative Iranian philology, sociolinguistics of Iranian languages, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, areal linguistics, and language typology.

Individual authors can submit maximally one joint, and one single-authored paper. Presentations are for 20 minute talks, plus 10 minute discussions. We will also accommodate a certain number of poster-presentations. All abstracts will be anonymously reviewed.
 
Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

Abstract texts may be maximally two pages long, but may include an additional page for data and references. Please note that we can only accept abstracts in pdf format.

Abstracts should be sent to: icil5.aspra at uni-bamberg.de.

Please include the full names and affiliation(s) of the author(s) in the message accompanying your abstract.
 
Important Dates:

Final deadline for abstract submission: 31 January 2013
Date of notification of acceptance/rejection: 15 March 2013
Registration: 1 April - 31 July 2013
Conference dates: 24-26 August 2013
