Meeting Description: 

East Asian Psycholinguistics Colloquium is a two-day event to take place on October 13 and 15, 2012 at The Ohio State University (OSU). This Colloquium brings together psycholinguists working on East Asian languages and dialects to share their state-of-the-art research. There will be seven invited talks by leading scholars as well as a graduate student poster session.

The event is organized by OSU's Institute for Chinese Studies, Institute for Japanese Studies, and Graduate Association of Chinese Linguistics. Sponsors of the event include Institute for Chinese Studies, Institute for Japanese Studies, Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, Division of Arts and Humanities of the College of Arts and Sciences, East Asian Studies Center (U.S. Department of Education Title VI Grant), Graduate Association of Chinese Linguistics, Department of Linguistics, Department of Psychology, Buckeye Language Network (Arts and Sciences Innovation grant for the Study of Language Variation), and Department of Spanish and Portuguese.
