Description:

The University of Hamburg invites applications for a research assistant / PhD position
(50% TV-L 13, 19,5 hours/week) in English linguistics for a period of three years from 
1 March 2013.

Applicants should have a Master's degree in English linguistics as well as an interest 
in multilingualism, linguistic typology, corpus linguistics, linguistic variation and 
theory construction. 

Your tasks will include scientific work both in research and in teaching. You will teach 
one undergraduate course (2 hours) per semester and will also have the opportunity to 
write your PhD thesis. 

Your application should include a vita, a cover letter describing your experience and 
interests for both teaching and research, and proof of your university degree. Please
