The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures of the Faculty 
of Arts and Science invites applications for a tenure-track position at 
the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of Second Language 
Acquisition and Teaching with a specialization in Spanish language. 

Description:
The successful candidate will teach at the undergraduate and graduate 
levels, supervise M.A. and Ph.D. research, engage in ongoing 
research and publication, and contribute to the development of the 
Spanish graduate program.

Requirements:
-  PhD in Spanish Philology, Applied linguistics with a specialization in 
Spanish Language Teaching, or a related field
-  Experience teaching at the undergraduate level
-  A strong record of research and publication in the area of expertise
-  Native or near-native fluency in Spanish  
-  Proficiency in French*

Salary:
The University of Montreal offers competitive salaries, and a complete
