Meeting Description:

The 8th International Symposium on the Ancient Chinese Grammar will be organized by the AEAS (Academy of East Asian Studies at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU)). All scholars carrying out research in Ancient Chinese morphology, syntax and semantics are cordially invited to contribute to this conference. 

Call for Papers:

a. Abstracts written either in Chinese or English are invited for 30-minute presentations including discussion on any aspects of the classical Chinese language from any theoretical perspectives.
b. To facilitate the reviewing process, please identify in a few keywords below the abstract the primary domain of Classical Chinese addressed in your paper (e.g., Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Lexicography, Functional/Pragmatics, Dialectology, Computational/Corpus Linguistics, Writing, Paleography, etc.).
c. Abstracts must be on a single A4 page, 12 point font (or 'small 4' for Chinese), with one inch (2.5cm) margins each (top, bottom, sides).
d. Please send two copies of the abstract to isacg-8 at hanmail.net: attach one as Word document specifying the names of the author(s), affiliation(s), and email address; attach the other as PDF identifying the title only for anonymous review.
e. Submitted papers will be selected after review by members of the academic committee.
