Meeting Description:

ICLaVE is one of the most important fora for research in the area of language variation in Europe. It aims at bringing together scholars of languages or language varieties spoken in Europe with the purpose of discussing empirical, methodological and theoretical issues in the study of language variation and change on the continent. 

Call for Papers:

ICLaVE7 invites submissions for papers and posters on all scientific approaches to analysing and interpreting language variation and change in Europe. Scholars in any area of linguistics, such as historical linguistics, psycholinguistics, dialectology, sociolinguistics, phonetics, etc. are invited to submit their proposals.

Papers will be 20 minutes each, with a 10-minute question-and-answer period. Abstracts should not exceed 500 words, excluding title and references. Paper abstracts will be subjected to blind review, so author names should not appear anywhere on abstracts.
