Description:

Linguists participate in language technology research and development,
particularly related to language data. Duties include  developing and
executing language data collection and annotation, hands on testing of
language technology prototypes and applications, and development of linguistic
resources such as grammars and lexica.

Qualifications:
-  BA Linguistics
-  Excellent Analytic skills
-  Must have good attention to detail 
-  Strong background in Syntax and Semantics
-  Familiarity with languages other than English
-  Flexibility
-  3 years experience doing linguistic analysis

Candiates with one or more of the following addiltional qualifications will be
most competitive:
-  Experience in linguistic annotation
-  Experience designing and/or running psycholinguistics or psychology
experiments or doing human factors studies
-  Background in pragmatics, discourse and/or dialog
-  Native or near native skill in one or more of Mexican Spanish, German,
Italian, French, Mandarin
-  Background in phonetics and phonology
