Meeting Description: 

The Ninth International Conference on Middle English (ICOME 9) will be held in Warsaw, Poland, on 30 April-3 May 2015. 

The conference  will continue the series of ICOME conferences, so far held at Rydzyna, Poland (1994), Helsinki, Finland (1997), Dublin, Ireland (1999), Vienna, Austria (2002), Naples, Italy (2005) and Cambridge, UK (2008), Lviv, Ukraine (2011) and Murcia, Spain (2013). The conference will be hosted by the School of English of the University of Social Sciences in Warsaw. Like its predecessors, ICOME 9 will cover various aspects of the study of Middle English language and linguistics, textual and manuscript studies, as well as literature. 

Workshops and Panels: 
Proposals for workshops or panels on specific topics are welcome. These should reach the organizing committee preferably by: 1 April 2014. 

Papers:
Participants are invited to submit proposals for 20-minute presentations (to be followed by 10-minute discussion) on any topic within the above mentioned areas. Such proposals should be submitted in the form of 300 word abstracts sent in doc or rtf and pdf format (preferably in Times New Roman 12) to icome9 at san.edu.pl by 30 September 2014. 

Notice of acceptance will be sent in December 2014.
