Description:

The Institute of Empirical Linguistics at the Faculty for Language and Cultural Studies of the Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main is seeking to fill the position of a Research Assistant with extended teaching (“Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in mit den Aufgaben einer Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben”, E13TV-G-U – 50% half-days)  at the Chair of Phonetics from October 1st, 2013, limited for six years.

The candidate has successfully passed the qualifying exams as a Ph.D. program in phonetics.
Tasks include teaching (6 hours/week) within the curriculum of the BA and MA courses of the Empirical Linguistics with special subject in Phonetics of the university (http://titus.uni-frankfurt.de/es.htm). There is room for additional scientific qualification during the term breaks.

We expect a qualified MA in Phonetics, preferably with a PhD degree in that subject.
