Abstract:

The Solomon Islands has a rich linguistic heritage of over 60 languages, many
of which have not been described in detail. This first dictionary of Owa, a
South East Solomonic Language, contains over 3900 entries, which are typically
illustrated with examples of natural language. An overview of the phonology,
morphology, and syntax is supplemented by notes on discourse features.
