The Department of Linguistics at The Ohio State University invites applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in theoretical linguistics with a specialty in semantics, beginning January 1, 2014 with reappointment possible for up to two years. We seek a candidate with a demonstrated and innovative research program and the ability to teach effectively in both our undergraduate and doctoral programs. Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. in linguistics by the date the position is accepted. Applications should include a CV, a research statement, sample publications, three letters of reference, a teaching statement, teaching evaluations if available, and a cover letter. Review of applications will begin December 1, 2013 and continue until the position is filled. Application materials should be sent to Claudia Morettini at the application email address below.
