Meeting Description:

The 11th International Conference on General Linguistics is the next in the series of biennial conferences that have been held at Spanish universities since 1994 to provide a forum for dialogue and debate on language and languages: Valencia (1994), Granada (1996), Salamanca (1998), Cádiz (2000), León (2002), Santiago de Compostela (2004), Barcelona (2006), Madrid (2008), Valladolid (2010) and Zaragoza (2012).

The conference will consist of different types of session devoted to the analysis of diverse aspects of language from a range of theoretical perspectives.

Call for Papers:

We would welcome papers for thematic panel sessions, general session papers and posters devoted to the analysis of diverse aspects of language from a range of theoretical perspectives. Only proposals submitted through the official form (http://www.unav.edu/congreso/xicilg/abstracts) will be evaluated. Please send your form to: xicilg at unav.es. As in previous editions, papers/posters may be presented in any language, but please note that there will be no translation services available during the conference.

Category 1: Papers for thematic panel sessions

When filling out the abstract submission form, the authors should choose the panel which best suits the topic of the paper. Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by the Scientific Committee and the chairs of each thematic panel session will evaluate and select the papers which best fit the approach of each panel. The papers that are accepted but which cannot be included in the thematic panel session initially proposed by the author will be relocated in the general sessions, where papers on similar topics will be grouped together.
