The conference has two major objectives, namely to discuss African languages and literatures in the context of multilingual and multicultural discourses and to examine African languages, literature and culture in the light of the new socio-political and economic circumstances of the 21st century in Africa.

Submission of Abstracts:

Abstracts, of not more than 300 words, should be emailed, not later than 30 April 2014, to the following email address: batibohm at mopipi.ub.bw. Abstracts received after the aforementioned date will not be considered. Notices of acceptance will be sent out before 15 May 2014.
