Description:

Boston University anticipates (pending approval of funding) a 1-year opening for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Linguistics with a specialization in Syntax, for AY 2014-15. 

Requirements include a PhD (in hand by time of appointment), strong background in linguistic theory, demonstrated teaching ability, and commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching and advising. Application materials should include a cover letter; CV; research statement; teaching statement; documentation of teaching ability; three sample publications; and three letters of recommendation.
