New MA Programme ‘Metaphor in Discourse’

VU University Amsterdam (Netherlands) offers a new program in ‘Metaphor in
Discourse’ within the Master ‘Communication and Information Studies’.
‘Metaphor in Discourse’ focuses on metaphor in all kinds of real usage
documents and events, including literature, science, health communication,
political discourse, newspaper articles, advertisements, business discourse,
conversations, chat, web pages and so on. The programme is meant for students
who are interested in the role of language in discourse and communication.

Application deadline for study program: 

(non-)EU students with an international degree: 1 April

EU students with an international degree who do not need housing services
through the university: 1 June

Scholarship opportunity:

Highly motivated international students are encouraged to apply for the
competitive VU Fellowship Programme www.vuamsterdam.com/vufellowship

Both EEA and non-EEA students are eligible to apply.

Application deadline for scholarship: 1 March
