Meeting Description:

Ghent University (UGent) and University College Ghent (HoGent) are pleased to announce ICLC7-UCCTS3, an international conference combining in a single venue the latest editions of two series:

- the 7th edition of the International Contrastive Linguistics Conference (ICLC), and
- the 3rd edition of Using Corpora in Contrastive and Translation Studies (UCCTS).

Between them, ICLC7 and UCCTS3 encompass the full range of contrastive linguistics and corpus-based translation studies, including corpus-based interpreting studies. Given the complementary nature of these fields of study, and the methodological overlap between them, the primary aim of ICLC7-UCCTS3 is to bring together people and create theoretical and empirical synergies across disciplinary boundaries.

Invited Speakers:

Volker Gast (Jena)
Giannoula Giannoulopoulou (Athens)
Sylviane Granger (Louvain-la-Neuve)
Anna Mauranen (Helsinki)
Sandra Halverson (Bergen)

A preliminary programme is available at http://www.iclc7-uccts3.ugent.be/,
including abstracts. Registration is open, and information is available on
accomodation and travel. Please contact iclc7-uccts3 at ugent.be with any further
inquiries.
