Dear LINGUIST List Readers,

We hope you had a great holiday season. The LINGUIST List staff is back in the
office and will resume posting today. We appreciate your patience as we post
the backlog of announcements submitted while we were on recess.  Also, if you
sent us an email message while we were away we will try to respond as soon as
possible. If you should have any questions or concerns, please feel free to
email the managing editor directly at kristen at linguistlist.org.

A special thank you to those of you who were able to visit us at our LSA
office hours. We look forward to another year of serving the linguistics
community and making the LINGUIST List a better resource. Thank you for your
