Description:

The postdoctoral researcher assists in projects related to (1) rational
modeling of perceptual compensation for contextual variation, and (2)
experimental investigations of contextual effects on speech perception.
Primary responsibilities include setting up and performing experiments,
collecting, maintaining and analyzing data, conducting literature reviews,
assisting with preparing reports, manuscripts and other documents, interacting
with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal
investigator. Other responsibilities may include the following non-laboratory
duties: assisting in recruiting and scheduling research subjects; assisting
with developing or amending study protocols; assisting with developing data
collection tools; assisting with building databases; and providing general
administrative support.

This is a twelve-month position that, depending upon funding, may be renewable
for a second term.

Competitive applicant must have an advanced degree. PhD in Linguistics,
Cognitive Science, or a related field referred.
