Description:

Boston University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Linguistics to begin in Fall 2014 (pending budgetary approval), to teach and advise at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of language acquisition and linguistic theory and to participate in overseeing the annual BU Conference on Language Development. Requirements include a Ph.D. in Linguistics (in hand by start date), primary specialization in language acquisition, and secondary specialization in some area of linguistic theory.  Strength in neurolinguistics would be a plus. Demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and advising is expected.  
 
Application materials should include a cover letter; CV; research statement; teaching statement; documentation of teaching ability; three sample publications; and three letters of recommendation.
