Description:

We are seeking for a scholar with an adequate C.V. and a relevant expertise in Translation Studies. The successful candidate will be an active researcher able to enhance and extend the Faculty’s strengths across a broad curriculum.

Qualifications:
-  He/She will be a native speaker of Portuguese, able to translate from English, German, French or Spanish into Portuguese.
-  He/She will have excellent IT skills.
-  He/She will have a record of regular publication recognised as being of the highest standard nationally and internationally.
-  He/She will be an excellent teacher who will take part of the Faculty’s mission to inspire our students and contribute to a range of teaching and learning across programmes and at all levels, working to ensure the highest quality student experience. You will be expected to innovate and develop research-led teaching.

The post will be held at the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas (Av. de Berna, 26, Lisboa), will run from 09 September 2013 and last for one year (renewable).

Candidates shortlisted for the post will be notified by Friday 30 August. Interviews will be held during the week commencing 2 September 2013.
