We are happy to announce that the registration system for the 2013 Linguistic
Institute is now live - and after only one day, the number of registrations is
already approaching the 200 mark!

The Linguistic Institute is a bi-annual event sponsored by the Linguistic
Society of America. It brings together hundreds of linguists (both students
and professors) for four weeks, for a wide variety of classes, workshops,
conferences, talks, and other activities. The 2013 Linguistic Institute is
hosted by the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and will be held between
June 24 and July 19, 2013. The theme of this year's Institute is
''Universality and Variability'', and it is promising to be an exciting and
vibrant event.

Complete information about the 2013 Linguistic Institute is available on our
website here: http://lsa2013.lsa.umich.edu/

The registration system can be accessed at this link:
http://lsa2013.lsa.umich.edu/about/registration-information/

We encourage you to register sooner rather than later. Some of the most
popular classes may fill up early!
