Meeting Description:

Phoneticians are invited to Riga next February to share ideas about the recent development of theoretical platform and inventory of methods used in phonetic research and phonology. We will be glad if this meeting facilitates cooperation between phoneticians from different countries.

Registration Fee:

Early registration (by January 15, 2014): 20 EUR
Late registration (after January 15, 2014): 30 EUR

Latvian Language Institute of the University of Latvia invites you to participate in the International Scientific Conference Contemporary Research in Phonetics and Phonology: Methods, Aspects and Problems dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Prof. Alise Laua and held at the Latvian Language Institute on February 6-7, 2014.

Working language: English
Time for the presentation: 15 min + 5 min for discussion.

The decision on acceptance will be sent by December 1, 2013.
The conference program will be announced by January 17, 2014.

The articles based on the conference reports can be submitted for publishing in the annual volume of “Linguistica Lettica.”
