3rd Patras International Conference of Graduate Students in Linguistics (PICGL3)
May 23-25, 2014

This conference is addressed to graduate students (MA or PhD) from Greece and all over the world who would like to present current research in any field of linguistics (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, historical linguistics, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, computational linguistics, lexicology, lexicography, language acquisition, language teaching, etc.).

Call for Papers:

We invite you to the 3rd Patras International Conference of Graduate Students in Linguistics (PICGL3) which will be held at the Conference and Cultural Center at the University of Patras, May 23-25, 2014.

The aim of the conference is to bring graduate students (MA and PhD) together, from all over the world, in order to present their research interests and to exchange ideas.

We encourage graduate students to submit an abstract of their research work in any field of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, until January 10, 2014. Notifications of acceptance will be sent on February 5, 2014.

Guidelines for Participants:

Please send your abstract to picgl3 at upatras.gr. The message should be of the following format:

An anonymous abstract (up to 500 words) should be sent as an attachment in Word (.doc) or PDF format.

The following information should be provided in the email text:

- Name
- Affiliation (department and university)
- Email address (the one you regularly check)
- Title of the paper
- Area of research (e.g.  morphology, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, etc.)
- How you prefer to present your paper (i.e. talk or poster)

Presentations will last 20 minutes plus 10 minutes for discussion.

The official languages of the conference are English and Greek.
